What is it?
Candelo Kid Night Out is an informal gathering in the community of Candelo. The focus of the afternoon is about connecting, playing and having a good time in the local park followed by a community dinner and disco in the Candelo Town Hall.
Who is Organising this event?
Candelo Kid Night Out is being coordinated by Sam Martin - 0401180749 and is supported by the Candelo Arts Society and Candelo Primary School P & C..
Who can come?
This event is open to families. Parents and children, all children are to be supervised by their guardians.
How does it work?
Book a free ticket online, so the Candelo Arts Society has an idea of expected numbers.
On arrival sign in at the Caravan Stage in Candelo Park.
Arms bands will be given to all attendees with phone numbers of parents and guardians added to childrens arm bands.
This will also be an opportunity for attendees to donate to the event. Donations will be going directly to the Candelo Public School P & C after costs of the event have been covered.

Roles include set up and ticketing support, kitchen support, art and craft activities, stage, sound and lighting management, pack up support. High school school aged volunteers are welcomed and encouraged.

PROGRAM
NB: There will not be any food or drink vendors in the Park, the Candelo Service Station will extend hours for the afternoon for snack purchases
Sam’s Caravan will be provided as a space for impromptu performances and run black board style, young people are invited to perform on the stage, there will be a drum kit, piano and bass amp provided.
The Great Zamboni will be providing some magic and balloon tricks.
Rhys the Trickster will be performing a street theatre style show.
Sammy from Brothers on Fire will be providing a Circus Skills Workshop
6 - 7:30pm - Community Shared Dinner
The Town Hall supper room and cafe space will be set up with long grazing tables, families are encouraged to bring a plate to share. Canape style sharing of food.
Food can be dropped at the Hall during the afternoon, there is a large fridge available for storing perishable food.
