Corn Nut Creek + Kate Burke

Corn Nut Creek (USA/AU) are award-winning folkies hailing from New York and Melbourne. Their spellbinding songs draw from Appalachian roots and will transport you with lush three-part vocal harmonies and toe-tapping fiddle and banjo. Danielle Vita and Tanya Bradley are storytellers bound together through sisterhood and song. They were finalists and awarded Jurors Top Five in the 2020 Blues and Roots Radio International Song Competition. Danielle also took first place prize in the vocal category of the 2020 Deer Creek Fiddler's Convention (USA). They perform as a trio with award-winning Australian bassist and singer Kimberley Wheeler. Corn Nut Creek met over 10 years ago in Hong Kong and have been inseparable ever since. Their debut EP was the feature on Felicity Urquhart’s ‘Saturday Night Country’ on the ABC, as well as Mike Kear’s Music From Foggy Hollow on Bluegrass Country Radio. They will be embarking upon an Australian tour in 2023 as well as releasing their first full-length album in late 2023.
